1. Introduction
Welcome to empurisfoundation.com (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using this website and making donations, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Scope
We do not allow user registration or account creation. You may donate through our donation page using Flutterwave, NowPayments (cryptocurrency), Naira or USD bank transfers.
3. Donation Terms
- All donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
- Once confirmed by our payment partners, donations are final.
- Refunds may be issued only under exceptional technical errors (e.g., duplicate transaction)—contact us within 48 hours at info@empurisfoundation.com.
4. Payment Methods & Accuracy
- We offer secure donation options via Flutterwave, NowPayments, Direct Bank Transfer (Naira & USD).
- Payment processing is handled by these trusted third parties; Empuris Foundation does not store your credit card or crypto wallet data on our servers.
- You confirm that the donation source and payment method are valid and authorized by you.
5. Currency & Conversion
- We accept donations in ₦ NGN via Flutterwave or bank transfer, and USD via CoinPayments or USD bank transfer.
- Crypto donations (e.g., BTC, USDT, ETH) are processed via NowPayments, in USD by default.
- If conversion is done by NowPayments or the bank, recipient receives equivalent local currency.
6. Recurring Donations
- Currently recurring donations are not enabled through our donation system.
- If recurring support becomes available in the future, you will be informed, and cancellations will be allowed at any time.
7. Use of Donations
- All donated funds are used to support our programs in Nigeria: food distribution, education sponsorship, medical initiative support, and community development.
- We aim for maximum transparency. After your donation, we may send updates or reports—only if you consent or request it.
8. Intellectual Property & Content Use
- All content on the website (text, images, logos) is the property of Empuris Foundation or used by permission.
- You may not copy, alter or redistribute this content without written permission from us.
9. User Content
- Our site does not support user-generated posts, comments, or campaigns.
- If we ever enable this feature, any material shared must not be defamatory, fraudulent, illegal, or infringing on rights. We reserve the right to remove such content without notice
10. Limitation of Liability
Empuris Foundation and its officers are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of the site or acceptance of donation terms. We do our best to maintain accurate information but do not guarantee completeness or non‑interruption.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal data collected during donation (e.g. name, email, amount, payment method) is handled per our Privacy Policy.
We do not share personal data with third parties except to process payments or when required by law
12. Third‑Party Links and Pages
We may link to reputable third-party sites (e.g. NowPayments, Flutterwave). These sites have their own privacy and terms policies, which we do not govern. Linked sites are for reference only.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Any changes will appear on this page with a new effective date. If changes are significant, we may notify donors via email or website banner.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
